Job Summary
This position is to plan and implement communication and outreach activities of our Office to raise the public awareness and to maintain good relationship with our domestic and international partners in Egypt.
This job is for Egyptian nationals only.
Contract Period
1 year with 3-month probationary period
(Contract period can be extended according to the performance evaluation)
Responsibilities
1. Create, implement and support communication strategies appropriate to the Office;
2. Responsible for problem solving both independently and collaboratively;
3. Manage the content for homepage and social media channel such as Facebook;
4. Support the events held by the Office;
5. Produce articles or public speech materials for the Office and the Country Director;
6. Produce the materials for marketing like flyers, banners, regular newsletters, etc in collaboration with colleagues;
7. Support the Office to establish and cultivate relationships with local and regional print, broadcast, radio, and online media;
8. Produce web materials for communication in time of need;
9. Other duties as required
Minimum Qualification Requirements
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, International Relations, or a similar field (or ability to demonstrate a work-based equivalent)
Experience:
Minimum 3 year of experience in communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field;
Skills:
Written and spoken fluency in English required;
Experienced in using Photoshop, Illustrator or other useful IT applications for the tasks;
Experienced in managing the homepage of an organization;
Fluent in written and verbal communication in English and Arabic;
Good at using Microsoft suites (Words, Excel, PowerPoint, etc)
